Three Superimposed Stones
Da Ba Chong lies right in the middle of the populated residential area of Dinh Quan District, on the side of National Highway 20. After being exposed to rains and sunshine for millions of years, after three times submerged by the invading sea, having witnessed violent eruptions of hundred of volcanoes, this structure of three apparently unstable superimposed stones is still standing there, creating a majestic landscape.
Beside Da Ba Chong are two low mountains called Bach Tuong because they look like kneeling elephants. On the mountain summit there is a 20 meter-high Buddha statue sitting on a lotus-shaped platform : At the mountain feet there a deep grotto and Thien Chon Pagoda; opposite is Hon Dia (dish-shaped hill) father is Hon Su Tu (Lion Hill).
Da Ba Chong is a remain of Eo-Phu Nam culture of the plateau platform in the eastern region of South-Vietnam. It was classified as a tourist site by the Ministry of Cultural and Information in 1988.
