Đắk Lắk is a province in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. It is famous for coffee farms and green forests. The weather is warm and comfortable. Many people visit Đắk Lắk to see waterfalls, lakes, and local villages. The people here are friendly and kind. Đắk Lắk is a good place to enjoy nature and learn about local culture.
The trip to Dak Lak city, together with a visit to Phu Yen before the merger, brought me many new and emotional experiences. In the summer of 2025, I was lucky to enjoy a long road trip by car with my family from Da Nang to Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and finally Lam Dong. On this journey, visiting Dak Lak was a place we felt we must experience at least once in our life. Dak Lak appeared with the special beauty of the Central Highlands, where wide plateaus, large coffee farms, and open natural spaces create a scene that is both strong and peaceful. Standing on the red basalt roads, breathing the fresh air and listening to the sounds of the mountains and forests, I felt my mind become lighter and more relaxed after busy days. The gong culture, traditional long houses, and the simple and honest people left a deep impression on me.
Leaving Dak Lak to go to Phu Yen, the scenery slowly changed to the gentle beauty of the sea and the coastal plains of central Viet Nam. Quiet beaches, special rocky cliffs, and green fields make Phu Yen a calm, friendly, and very poetic place. Walking by the sea, listening to the sound of waves and feeling the cool wind, I felt a perfect connection between mountains and sea, between strength and softness of nature. Local food such as com lam, grilled chicken of the Central Highlands, and Phu Yen fish noodle soup also made the trip more complete. The journey to Dak Lak – Phu Yen was not only a trip to see beautiful places but also a chance to feel the deep culture and the rich beauty of a land full of identity.
